October is National Window Covering Safety Month. This national campaign—sponsored jointly by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Window Covering Safety Council—is designed to increase consumer awareness of potential window cord hazards, as well as to urge parents and caregivers to only use cordless window products in young children’s bedrooms and replace all window coverings in the home made before 2001 with today’s safer products.
To help retailers participate in this important program, the Window Covering Safety Council (WCSC) is pleased to provide you with various informational and promotional materials for download at no charge.
